Everytime I go past 16psi the car jerks around??? Boostcut???

I used to run 20psi and it ran fine till I took out a battery and ever since then I go past 16psi it jerks around....help!!!! I cant accl more then 20%...oh and on a cold start up it has a ticking sound then I turn off then restart and it gos away...I'm not sure what's rong with my car is it a boost cut or car is out of timming ...

Ticking could be lifters
Jolting happened after u removed battery yeah. Any chance the ecu lost some form of setting/tuning. I know some cars u disconnect battery an or ecu plugs to reset it.

mine was jolting on hard accelation and it needed a tuning tweek

no ecu should loose its maps when power is lost. probably the colder/more dense air is being sensed by the afm which has a similar overall volume to higher boost at higher intake temps.
if boost cut is still active thats what it will be, unless its your fuel pump dieing or something else.

chuck it on a dyno to see what boost & afrs are doing.

Oh. My mates supra resets and retuned itself if u unplug it. Another mate had his ecu in an s15 running in limp mode. So unplugged it then hooked it up again and ran fine. 'twas just an idea

Thanks guys I'll chuck it on the dyno and I'll see what's up...and the ecu is stock but has been tuned about 1year ago
