evo 1.2.3. grear box in a Hyundai Sonata

A frend of mine is wanting to know if a evo 1.2.3. gear box will fit in his Sonata?
He is running a Eclipse 4G63T and his gear box is on it's way out.

Are they the same or differant?

yes he can,
he will need to lock the centre diff in order to run it in fwd...
this can be done via welding or installed a vce

You will also need to do something with your driveshafts and get an AWD flywheel.
