evo 1-3 clutch fork

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Get a Competition Clutch forged clutch fork with pivot ball. Part Number: FRK-5048. You can buy them from US EBay. A lot of guys use them including myself.
"This clutch fork has been modified so it can be used with any clutch both conventional and twin discs, from any manufacturer. The fork is made using 4140 forged steel which in turn makes the product far stronger than the OE part"

Don't over-tighten the pivot ball as it will snap. Just do it up hand tight with a little nip with a spanner with a 3mm spacer washer if using it with an aftermarket clutch. Then check your clutch fork position when mounting the gearbox on the engine block.
Jacks Transmissions has a good video on Youtube about setting up the pivot ball and clutch adjustment. See video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYJxQyjIhUw
