As above what's the difference? I know there is one but is it much like what are we talking a few cms?
If any body has a GSR and got evo guards on the front post up the pic please.

I'm thinking of getting a pair if theres a big difference.

Cheers,
Danny

there is a big difference, in shape.
it flairs out a little bit.
you really only need them if you plan on getting a genuine E1-3 front bumper, which i highly recommend
heres some pics of my car when it was born.. compared to now with my genuine E3 front

ps, don't park your lancer next to a gtr if you don't want it to look girly as shit.

edit: strange

The guards do flare out around 15mm more on each guard, also if running a oem evo 1-3 frt bar it will fit but looks like poo(doesnt line up, but its only howbad you look at it though), if you have the evo frt bar just put evo guards on the wanted list and when you get them do the swap over.

yeh thanks for that guys
if i can get my hands on a genuine evo3 fb then ill have to get sum evo guards
highly doubt id be able to find a gen evo 3 for a while so maybe fibreglass will have to do that way i wont have to change guards over

dont do it!
get genuine.
leave the guards for now, their easy as to find,
look for a front bar first, once you get that, then u get your guards.
i've done the whole fibreglass, gsr guards, genuine evo thing and i highly recommend sticking with genuine :)

Can you still buy genuine new and if so does anyone know the part number. I have read the part number thread but the bumper breakdown is a bit confusing.

ask SIVART.
If you can which I don't know they do, he would be able to find out.
If they did have them they would be fkn stacks :(

New Oem EIII frt bars are around the 950 mark +freight

just whore every Mitsu for sale forums and ebay ect. and you will find one second hand they range from 250-700 depends on condition and weather it has any or all of the following! reo, mesh, badge, or splitter ect.

Many on Mitsu forums have gone down the fibreglass EvoIII bar to fit gsr guards but problem is everyone smashes them and then your up for a repair bill if it can be salvagable, .....
But if you go down the OEM Evo 1-III Abs plastic frt bars it will take hits and cuase little or no damage as the plastic bumper bends unlike fibreglass ;) ect.

Yeh ideally I'd love an OEM Evo 3 fb but yeah I'll see how I go.
Liberoz just give me your fb :p or anybody else wanted to donate your genuine Evo 3 fb to ME :D
