so the rubber mount or insert itself is in a different position than the evo or will this mount do the job.

Ok I think I see now why I am a little confused. The VR4 was Galant based and obviously the Evo Lancer based. This motor came out of a Lancer with this mount. From the first pic you can just see the front mount pushed to the side which I thought was from the bent chassis the donor car had from a previous accident. So it seems the wrong mount is fitted for the Lancer? Also will the Evo mount bolt straight to the bracket in the first pic or do I need to purchase a dif one also?

you will need the mount from the block (front of motor) and the mount to the chassis rail/body

the mount from the block has 2 studs and one bolt hole, the mount just get from meek!

you could try Andrew from Centra Victorian something something for the mount to the block.

check the supported page!

I dont think the mount to the block is the same as the evo 123 besides the fact it wraps to the front of the motor.

You will need both parts of the engine mount,
on the block
and also to the chassis,
plus evo bottom and mid timing belt covers as vr4 are different.

and also the PS bracket .... you dont want those two ugly studs sticking up for no reason.
