Sorry if I've failed at the search function but trying to find the part numbers for evo 3 air con compressor (to see if it's common with any other models or made by any aftermarket companies) and ther bracket and lines needed for changing over a gsr to evo 3 motor.

I believe it's different from the 6 bolt one so a bit of a pain in the arse to find? Would it be common with USA dsm models?

Here is a pic of a genuine EVO I-III Aircon Compressor.
I couldn't find the full part number in Mitsu ASA parts program, it only shows as separate parts for the body and clutch (see last pic).

Just did a search on the internet for MR168199 and it brought up this page from the US showing the same part number on these cars here: http://www.autopartoo.com/oem/mitsubishi/mr168199mitsubi.html
Also here for sale: http://acpartshouse.com/inventory/100938-1994-1996-dodge-eagle-mitsubishi-plymouth-compressor
Looks similar except for the clutch pulley. Buy at your own risk I suppose as you might have to look for a separate clutch assembly to suit the belts on our engines?

You could also try the Part number on the blue sticker on the compressor = AKC201A202
You will need to make sure the numbers are identical!! As a slight deviation could mean different clutches, different electrics or fittings.

thats the same compressor and pull as found on the cc lancer 1.5's

I would say the 1.5 stuff is correct for a evo 1-3. As the 1.5 block is pretty similar to the g63.
I was going to say maybe the compressor could come out of a proton 1.5, but ive heard the lines are different.

Cc 1.5 is the go. I bet the lines are correct too

cheers guys thats easy to find, thought it would be odd to see a compressor simply for evo models, mitsu usual tries the same part accross a few different models

When I went to my local Mitis dealership parts department there was 2 different AC pumps that came up as listed for the early Evo platforms.

Although they bolt the same way to the back of the engine, one pump has it's fittings pointing towards the firewall, the other had it's fittings pointing towards the bonnet.

This all came about as I was trying to order new lines for my AC. I ended up giving up and tearing it all out of the car.

Im an A/C specialist if you wanted to run that compressor with the v-belt the front section of the compressor unbolts and i should have a 4 or 5pk belt pulley for it. New suction and discharge lines on the compressor can be made but always easier to use factory bits.

i just want to run AC and need an ac unit and bracket. If fact i need everything, this is a shopping trolley not a pretend race car I want comfort.

yes it does, compared to my other cars jamo. You know that. Besides when i already have skin cancers i like the windows up in summer
