evo 3 transfer case

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

pretty sure the rvr ratio is different brian as from memory the run 3.35 diff ratios.

I believe evo3 is on its own, I have heard of a few going for about $500 lately as they are bloody hard to find

reason i want one it because i have a three box here that i want to sell.......easier to sell with a transfer. but if they are five hundred bugger that i will put a GSR crown and pinion in it

I'm pretty sure you can use evo1-2 transfers with the evo3 box brian,
the transfer case ratios are as such:

evo1-2: 1.090
evo3: 1.074

which is like a 2% difference. All this means is there will be more 'preload' on the viscous coupling in the box.

it will fit but it will stuff the vcu - not the go at all.

i have heard this as well.....stuffs the viscous. ah well might just sell the thing on its own and let the next owner make the choice.

if it was in my car it would take years to stuff the viscous....i does about 40/50 kms a week

Tim,no there isnt a buyer lined up yet .....box number says its e3. I will sms it to you later ......when I am beside the box.
if your interested i am going to disassemble it to check it out before selling it....because i never drove it. you could have look see inside if you want?

how is yours coming along?

If you want to sell it PM whippet aka Lyle on E'Oz he has a Yellow plate 3 and does buy spares for it to stock pile for future breakages lol
