Now I had a phone call recently.
Asking about the opening and closing ramps being back to front when using late evo cams in early evo.
I thought this was true according to many posts on the net both in au and us sites.
However, most of the way through a bottle of jacks the other night I thought about it and decided it was wrong.
I cannot for the life of me understand why this common misconception has abounded. I dont know how I could have believed it to be true. It is like a optical illusion in my head when you visualise it that somehow the ramps are wrong.
(Kiggly himself says he had cams cut with the ramps reversed to run mivec in his 2g)
Or the bourbon has killed the last few brain cells and I have no idea what is going on.
So at the risk of starting a troll post, what is the go. I know the drive pin at the nose is wrong spot and I know the cas slot needs to be cut. Imo, the ramps are correct as they are.
Thoughts and opinions please...
Maybe it should be a poll
