Hey guys,

just trying to find someone who has evo scan and the cable, i need to bleed the ayc in the 5 and would prefer to do it on the ground rather than up on axle stands revving in 3rd! im gunna get it my self but im trying to get it done before the pizza meet also im new to it so would appreciate if someone could help me out an show me how to set it up and what not,

Cheers fellas

The Snap On Solus ( of which I have one) will only do the Evo 7 onwards re AYC and ACD bleeding. This assumes you jave the later updates that has a special Evo sub section.

The Evo 4-6 must have a different protocol, and I always use the Evoscan software for the earlier models. I havent been able to use Evoscan successfully on the later models ! Hamish Ahern developed Evoscan around his own earlier Evo 5/6, and I have given up hassling him on why the software is so sketchy on later Evos !!

cheers for the offer Kyle is it? All i know is i can bleed the diff with Evoscan was unsure till the last post wether that cable would work with my ayc
hey Blackvr I run a e7 ecu in the 5 would that cable work or would i still need Evoscan because the ayc computer is 5?

cheers bud, really appreciate the help, still abit of a noob when it comes to this

so has anyone got Evoscan set-up and the 1.3 cable in Melb or should i hit up the folk on evo-oz?

all i was sugesting is you maybe able to use the snap on solus pro's serial conector cable in conjunction with evo scan.

solus pro cable setup as you would normally for the solus. into serial of laptop/ serial to usb adaptor then into evo scan . if that makes sense?
