EVO Strut Top Gussets

Does anyone have any close up and detailed pics of the EVO Strut/firewall gussets??

Im thinking of getting some but want to see how they fit up

One of my pics shows the gussets welded in.

i was curious to know how they sit, if the strut and the firewall gets welded first then the centre overlaps them

or

the centre goes on 1st then the strut and the firewall gusset sits on top of them

The pics clearly show the centre gusset sits on top of the other 2

But havnt new gussets the centre seems to sit better under the other 2

That's why i wanted pics

There's a mix of hand and robot welding on them IIRC. Drilling out the spotwelds to get them off the EVO shell is a PITA but cutting the hand mig welding is even worse!

Agree Jack. Only reason Mitsubishi wouldhave gone with the welded gussets instead of the fender/door bars would have been cost.
