Not sure if this is a good place for this question but has anyone modified a rear lower control arm to allow an EVO 6 rear shock to be installed in a GSR or ADM CE Lancer?
OR
Is anyone interested in figuring out how to just for fun. :)

I have TME front shocks in so far and reckon the matching rears should help considerably.
Also looking at figuring out a swaybar solution for the domestic Lancer as well eventually.

My aim is to place 1st at a SAU DECA in a FWD Lancer <_<

Its been done a few times to early Evo's, I wouldn't imagine that it's too different for your aims..

Some folks have replaced the lower part of the shocks, but the easiest way to do it, is to put something solid inside the rear trailing arm, a piece of steel or similar, to stop the arm from collapsing inwards when you tighten the shock mounting bolts.

No biggie. :D

That make sense re modding the swing arm. The shocks are gas filled so dont know if they could be welded. (Don't have a welder anyway)
I might talk to techsport and see what they can do with the swing arm.
What's peoples view re aftermarket shocks that would be equivalent to the 6 unit?

Talked to TS today got a bemused look I must say.
might look at aftermarket shocks next.
Any recommendation re good, EVO 6 equivalent, aftermarket rear brands?
