evo with ls1 motor

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

ahahaah AWSOME soo who wants to lend me there evo? lol! the supercharger wasn't even running !!!

if they kept the AWD that woulda made some impressive 1/4 mile times i rekon lol did they use an industrial size sho-horn to get that in??

I watched half of it...... but then I got bored.

That thing takes away everything that makes an EVO great. If I wanted something that sounded tough but just sat there and did one wheel burnouts I would've just bought a VN.

God people annoy me

Talk about back pedalling. I think the disadvantages well outweigh the advantages but there is always somebody out there that HAS to be different without considering consequences....

i'm all for crazy stuff like this, but it's auto.. and he doesn't even bag it up decently

i'm sorry but if you're dropping an ls1 into anything, then dropping burnouts, i shouldn't be able to see the car in the cloud of smoke

I like it, its different, and an amazing engineering feat.

Once tuned, this thing would be a weapon!

A 1600kg, single spinning, RWD WEAPON! (LS1's are bloody heavy)

A LS1 weight approx 62kg's more than a 4g63.. A 9 weighs, what 1400-1420kg's. 1420kg's + 62kg's = 1482kg's. Where did 1600kg's come from?

Sure, the tranny would probably weigh a bit more too, but remember no 35kg transfer case, no driveshafts, no ACD and hydraulic lines for it either.. It would probably come out the other side around 70kg's heavier max. Plus knowing the Arabs it's probably got a carbon driveshaft and all other ridiculously expensive lightweight parts.
