Evo X vs 08 STI on topgear

saw this on ep 2 season 11 of top gear.. was a bit unfair as they used an sti against the fq version of the evo x..

yeah but i imagine it's tricky with the overseas versions.

i'm not sure how it works with evo x's, are they base model versions detuned in aus/us/uk?
 
but in the end the suby was a bees dick quick around the track than the standard evo x.

the fq360 rocks though

not sure but at the end of the segment, they were talking about getting the detuned evo x which i assume is the normal one which still has more hp then the suby.
 
the one that was doing the nuts around the suby was an fq360 model
which i believe is based on a rs model

which is a uk dealer optioned up car under new car warranty still.
60hp more and other mods to go with it

the one they ran on the track was the normal evo x
