evo1 Vs GSR sway bar

Are the stock GSR and EVO 1 rear the same?

If they are differnt sizes, what would the stock size of both be?

im pretty sure gsr and evo 1-3 have 18mm rear sway bars.

you just have to hold your tongue right to get it in, its not hard just fiddly, the u clamps can be a bit of a bitch to get on sometimes though

I might be selling my 18mm bar, because after I'd already given the ok, to take it out, I find out that my bar is only 1mm wider than the stock evo 1 bar (at 18mm)

Whiteline 20mm rear swaybar + Evo 2/3 16mm front swaybar FTW. This is the set-up on my car and understeer is non-existant, and steering telepathic, compared to 20mm rear + std. Evo 1 front swaybar.

you just have to hold your tongue right to get it in, its not hard just fiddly, the u clamps can be a bit of a bitch to get on sometimes though

True, easy job but fiddly like most DIY jobs on these cars. The front swaybar clamps are so much worse though...

gsr is def 14mm NOT 18, fairly easy to install, bit fiddly just put it right way in and ur fine....bar is definately worth the cash

You'll need front struts with the eyelet for the swaybar link, the Evo 2/3 swaybar links, the swaybar, D bushes for the swaybar and the Evo 2/3 swaybar bracket (not as wide as Evo 1/GSR). Probably not a bad idea changing to the cast front control arms from Evo 2/3 as well, for extra castor.
A tip? Get someone else to do it

I have a correction to the above.
I'm in the process of changing over mine to a whiteline job and the GSR is 15mm not 14mm. B)
The Whiteline is some great value for the price! Its 20.3mm
