Exactly, sometimes I wonder what's real and what's hype when real life evidence contradicts what's considered to be fact. Someone I know got an EVO 2 frontcut and cast onto the compressor housing was 49178-01460 but pulling it apart and measuring the compressor wheel it was the same specs as the big16G EVO 3 turbo :? I can only come to the conclusion that some EVO 2's also came with the big16G and stamped '01460' on the compressor housing, before they made the '01470' EVO 3 turbo.GSRWRC said:Interesting fact that the Evo II and III usually have exactly the same 'big 16g' turbo even though it is documented that Evo IIs have a small 16g.
