Evo4-6 Gear knob on a Evo1-3/GSR?

Anyone know if a late model gear knob from an Evo4-6 will fit on an Evo1-3/GSR ?

Are they the same thread in other words...

The later model evo gear knobs look better

Oh and if it does fit on, does anyone have one in good nick they wanna sell to me? PM or e-mail me
