hey guys,
looking at brake conversions and what can be used with what and so on. can anyone tell me the bolt spacing on evo 4 calipers? like where it bolts to the hub? i just cant get anyone i have spoken to, that has removed them them selves to be able to measure them, are they the same bolt up as the early evo 1 2 and 3, just sit out further for the 294mm disc vs the 276 of the early evos.
the early evos are roughly 128mm center to center of the bolt holes, i just need to confirm the evo 4's with the twin pots are the same or not?
cheers simon.

I thought the evo4 brakes were identicle in size to the EVO1/2/3 276mm, just in 5x114.3 PCD

Here is a scan of the docs i have

In Mitsu ASA it says EVO1/2/3/4 front disks are 15" and EVO5> are 17"

the caliper spacing is the same as the brembos, not the same as the 1-3
the pads are the same as 1-3 though

and the rotor is 294mm but the same thickness as the 1-3 276mm one

thanks guys, gives me exactly what i need to know.

i knew about the twin pot caliper with the db1223 pads, the 5x114.3 rotors 294mm. i just couldnt get a straight answer on the caliper bolt setup.

I've got the evo 4 calipers they seem to fit fine no mod required except the pad sits further out away from the centre of the hub as to vr4. If you need photos I'll send you some.

Sooo... is there any combination up front (using EVO 4 parts) where bolting on Brembos and larger rotors is a bolt on affair?

evo 4 front arms, evo 4 knuckle and hub, brembos then bolt right on

if you wanted 4 stud use original hub and redrill the rotors

George, do EVO 4 front arms have a different ball joint assembly? just trying to figure whether EVO 4 hubs can mate up to EVO I-III arms?
