EXE Drag Day pre-meet details UPDATED MEET TIME (again)

Guys, i've taken the initiative and am organising the pre-meet for the EXE-crew drag day at heathcote.

If you dont know anything about it, there's a link HERE.

Since scrutineering starts at 10, we may as well turn up a 'little' later- and since there's only 50-60 cars racing, it'll more than likely be unlimited runs all day, and by the time we get there, we wont have to wait in a big line for scrutineering.

MEET:
Mc Donalds Fawkner, Sydney Rd, Fawkner- near the Sydney Rd and Western Ring Rd junction
Saturday the 8th of September 2007
Meet 9.30am depart 10am SHARP

Its important (if your racing especially) to have enough fuel for the drive up, which is 100km away from where we're meeting. there are plenty of gas stations around where we are meeting, and we WONT be stopping so please, be prepared.

The usual rules apply for drag racing, you must have long sleave clothing, a helmet and not be on drugs or be drunk.

If your intrested in coming, also post up- this will be a good warm up for the Team4G drag day in a couple of months!

no worries, only takes around 90 minutes to get back into the city

just a little suggestion, even though I've been told by Heathcote scrutineering start at 10am... BUT judging from the last 2 times I was there, generally once we arrive there, they will start scrutineering, and once they finish scrutineering we will start dragging already. So I would suggest you guys to move the meet time a bit earlier

PLUS, the staff there will have to stop for lunch around 12-1 (I will call them again to double check the exact time again), so by the time you guys get there, we might be stopping for lunch already, so you guys will be missing out for a few hours

yeah this should be good! Did you get my email r.e the 2 others that want to join the list? I sent it a couple of days ago, to the email address you supplied

You make a good point about lunch, the last time I went I only got 2 runs before lunch, so i've changed the time accordingly

send me a pm if you are still taking entrants (i'm sure it shouldnt be a problem, as there are always people who pull out last minute or cant race)
