Exedy twin disc clutch for 6 bolt?

Hi guys,

I'm having trouble figuring out if Exedy do a twin plate clutch for the 6 bolt 4g63. I have searched long and hard over the internet and cannot find a part number or price. I know they do for the 7 bolt and by all accounts is a very good thing.

Anyone know?

Failing that does anyone know if competition clutches are any good? The price is good and I'm looking for a bolt in option:

Awd clutches are the same. The flywheel is different.

Good to know, do you know if they make a 6 bolt flywheel?

Dunno. I reckon get a ali one with the replacable friction plate if your clutch is not organic (button clutch). If organic then a lightweight moly one is fine.

Who makes a replaceable friction disc for a twin plate Jack?
I've used a Quartermaster twin plate for the last few years and love it. Easy to drive and launch.
I got mine from Map performance with the 6bolt flywheel.
Otherwise I'd check out the ptt unit from STM.

I'm running a "direct clutch" twin plate clutch setup on my galant (fwd). I am running a VR4 RS box with a locked centre though.

That wont work with a twin plate though Jack. Only a single.
Most twin plate clutches use a 'flat' flywheel.

Beautiful bit of gear that. How long have you had it in? Race car or street car? Could you live with it on the street?

racecar with close enough to 400kw, its not to bad to drive, would be livable on a street car. soooo light its awesome
