I am planning a 3" turbo back exhaust purchase very shortly.
However i was thiking i should just get cat back until i get a 16g.
Do they have the same sized dump or whatever?

lol well my point is will i be wasting my money by getting a turbo back exhaust on a 14b.

Will i have to get a new exhaust part made when i upgrade my turbo in a couple of months?

I would wait untill you have a 16g and do it all at once :wink:

Well if you get a dump pipe etc installed now, it will probably be cheaper in total, as the exhaust guys only have to do it once. You shouldn't need to modify anything when you upgrade turbos.

Although by the time you're ready to upgrade turbos, you might decide to get something different... I think I'll go with 3zercrowd, wait until you upgrade turbos to get the exhaust.

although the dump flange on the 16g and the 14b are the same, the outlet in the turbine housing for the dump pipe and the wastegate just changes sizes.

if you get a dump pipe made up to suit the 16g (with the bigger hole for the dump, etc.) it should bolt straight up to your 14b, and then to your 16g when you change it.
