Exhaust upgrade for my EVO VIII???

Hey peoplez,

I'm looking at upgrading my stock exhaust for my evo VIII. Any recommendations?

I was looking at HKS and Greddy, but they are pretty expensive.

Nah, custom is too expensive.

When I say expensive....turbo back exhaust 3 inch, installed for around $1k.

That is a great price.
especially if that is brand name stuff.

I had a custom cat back made for $750 + $400 for the muffler and $350 for cat.

Front pipe was made by myself, that took a few days to make also!!

not sure what brand it is yet...its just an estimate.

any recommendations for exhaust brands....best quality for a good price?

All Jap exhausts you cant go wrong with, like HKS, Greddy, Fujitsubo etc..

Im getting a Turbo XS 3" Turboback exhaust though.

It comes with Front pipe, high flow metal cat and the rest.. (Im also upgrading my dump pipe at the same time to a 3" Invidia dump)

That is costing me $1449 installed (not including dump pipe labour)

You can pick up jap catback systems for under $1000 if your on a tight budget, but I am willing to pay a little extra for a high flow system which is what I want.

I'm getting my best mates uncle to install it for me, so should be able to get a decent price for labour etc.

not looking to get it till next year sometime though....going away in decemeber, so need to save!!!!

I'm in the same position right now.
I'm looking for a 3 inch system for my 8 MR.

Just checked out the XS Stealth exhaust, their website says they are selling them for $749
