Hey guys i've decided to move on from my Verada and upgrade into something a little bit newer.
She's a 2000 model Verada that I bought back in January 2010 for $10,990 with 93,000kms on the clock- Got receipts
Since then I have serviced it 8 times and it's sitting on 136,000kms. She's in awesome condition for its age! I am the second owner- the first owner was a lady who worked in accounts for various different car yards, and she got the car serviced by them very regularly.
The car has never let me down- it's as you'd expect from a Verada- all the options and comfort etc. Something different to your average Commodore/Falcon. Recently completed a major service at 119,000kms for peace of mind, including genuine timing belt kit from Mitsubishi, Brake fluid flush, Power Steering flush, Genuine panel filter, Genuine oil filter, Genuine Mitsubishi injector cleaner.
Since I purchased the car I added:
-17" EVO 9 Enkei's with 800km old KU31 SPT's (negotiable on sale price)
-King springs ($400) stock springs included
-Professionally laid 20% tint with lifetime warranty ($300)
-Phillips Diamond Vision 4300k headlights and spot lights ($140)
-New Bridgestone Potenzas on the stock 16" ($700)
-AC Delco battery- these are the only batteries I use ($115)
-Genuine VR-X floor mats ($150)
-Legnum VR-4 front twin pot brakes with new pads and larger discs ($380)
-Nardi Steering wheel ($250)
-TL Dash Facia and updated climate control ($220)
-VRX Black switches ($100)
-Pioneer 6x9's and DEH-P8650 H/U ($600)
All with receipts.
I also de-badged, de-stickered, de-mudflapped. The car also comes with a dickie seat, to squeeze in a couple of extra kids if you wanted to.
The only thing wrong with the car is that the front bumper was cracked after hitting a possum one night- can easily be plastic welded but you can hardly notice it anyway unless I pointed it out to you. I have a VRX bumper to go on soon anyway. Also a little of the paint is cracked off the inside of the roof racks, which could be easily touched up. There's a couple of minor stone chips and tiny dents, as you'd expect from an 11 year old car, but apart from that she's an awesome car, that as you all know are very reliable. There's no leaks whatsoever- the engine bay is mint, and the car is mechanically A1.
