I have my HKS cam combo for sale along with a set of 3G lifters. These will fir VR4 and EVO 1-3 motors.

The reason for sale is that I am going solid lifter with custom spec cams.

The 272 intake cam I imported from japan, but the 280 exhaust cam is a USA only cam, and was imported direct from there.


I'm asking $700 for the pair delivered. I paid over $850, and I haven't even used them yet. These retail for over $1000 in the shops here in Australia. The cams are the REAL DEAL.


Also got a set of 3g revised lifters, $190 delivered

Lumpy as hell. Won't make shit till 3krpm. So this would probably suit a race motor?

I dunno, i'm running 280/280 in mine, cams are sitting on the bench behind me ready to go in when the engine builds and the company who supplied them said not to bother with a street driven car.

depends what you call "fine" as whats good for one person may not be good for another.
my BC 280/280's idle between 1000rpm-1500rpm, usually around the 1300rpm mark for slightly better idle quality. lose heaps of vacuum. also its lumpy as anything and though i have a high tolerance it does get very annoying when stuck in traffic jams and coming home late at night. also attracts the po po's attention like nothing else. dialing them in with cam gears has actually improved response and power all round. although below 2000rpm more revs are required to get it moving especially on hills.
on the plus side though your friends think your car sounds tough as!

but with the many exhaust control valves and varex mufflers available these days it should not be a problem to shut it up when you want peace and quiet
