Diamonds are forever....
Hey guys! I have my weekend car for sale- It's a Pre Facelift Jap Spec VR4 in silver: E39A0002669
Built 03/12/1987, First sold January 1988, imported to Aus Nov 2004, Bought by Entaran in Feb 2005, Complied late April 2005, first registered 16/06/2005
Got every receipt under the sun! Currently sitting on 225,000kms. Still starts first time every time and blows no smoke. I paid $3500 for the car 6 months ago, and have probably spent about $1500 since, and have only probably taken it out for a spin about a dozen times.
Mods:
- TD05 16g
- EVO 2 ex manny
- 3" off turbo (stock exhaust currently on car due to recently cleared EPA notice)
- Cold air induction into stock air can
- Clutch has done less than 5000kms
- KYB shocks
- Whiteline 22mm sway bar (front)
- Whiteline 22/26mm adjustable sway bar (rear)
- Whiteline Castor/Camber kits (front and rear)
- New Springs (King super low)
- Single board ECU (good for data logging)
- 17" Black 5-spokes with near new 215x45's
- A-spec tail lights and garnish
- Brand new door decals
- De-badged
- Autotecnica steering wheel (actually really nice)
- Boost gauge
- Amped 6x9's with CD player
- Yellow top Optima battery ($)
- Tinted rear windows with glare strip
- Colour change green/orange dash (stock)
The car handles like a GSR or EVO! Would make a cheap track car if someone wanted to do down that route (I will if I don't get a quick sale) When I bought the car, the compression was all even around the 155 mark across the 4 cylinders.
There's a couple of issues which is understandable for a 24 year old car:
- Paint needs attention (roof and boot are particularly bad)
- 3rd and 4th gear aren't there anymore (possible bent shifter fork)
- Interior is a little scruffy (will clean it up as much as I can before sale)
- Oil leak (timing belt side)
- Windows take forever to wind up
