Hey guys.

We acquired a Proton GTI engine and attached gearbox on the weekend. It was just sitting in a garage for 4 years after an engine swap. We are told that the car had less than 50000kms on it before a 2G Eclipse frontcut was dropped into her. The box was added bonus despite being useless to me, but what interesting and shocked the hell out of us was the condition of the flywheel, clutch, disc and throwout bearing. Barely looks used!

Prices as follows and pics below:

Flywheel, clutch, disc and throwout bearing(you can have the 6 clutch bolts as well) $300

Gear Box $350 (Years of neglect and crap on it but degreased and cleaned off) Will do with another clean and possible scrub. I have to take pics of it yet. SOLD
Extractors $100

Front pipe with flex $50 (hard to ship though)

Return-less Fuel pump cradle (might be hard to find, no idea) $50

Proton GTI ECU Chippable socket. (MD352468) $250 SOLD

All prices ONO.

(All parts should also fit CC/CE lancer DOHC and SOHC blocks/heads and obviously Proton GTI/M21 coupe, but you should do some more research first to make sure)

Mate its a non turbo manifold.....Hence why I called them extractors.
They are basically the same design as the CE lancer SOHC ones.

ahh ok, nah.. i wouldnt mind a cheap find of extractors for the 4g61 for lil bit more power

Parts now on ebay

I thought id have a go at selling parts on there....... No idea on prices but Hey, if someone wants it they will bid I suppose.

any idea on the condition of the gearbox's internals. my glxi box dosn't feel to healthy and with a 93t pumping through it i feel it's only a matter of time before somthing goes pop

his gearbox will need an external cleanup (its been sitting under a house for a fair while ) but its internals should be in almost new condition. it has very low kilometers.

not too fussed about preety more so reliable. i shouldn't have a prob bolting this up to a 93t should i

Yeah 4g93P and 4g93t GSR engines (are basically the same minus turbo and small things) have the same mounting points on the block so no worries there.
It will need a real good clean, hes not joking about that at all. Good scrub and maybe some alloy cleaner or something.
As for the internals without opening it up for a look im not 100% certain, BUT, the car was converted to a 2G 4G63T Eclipse turbo engine 6 years or so ago and only had between 45-50000kms on it before the change!
We can drain the oil and have a look anyway.....

cleaning wont be a prob i've got some of the stuff my uncle used to use to clean service stations with. this stuff will rip even the most stubborn grease off. made a set of chrome rims that had never been washed look like new with just a simple dip and presure wash.

at 350 i can't realy complain it's just for me thats a bit of dosh to be hemorrhaging on an unkown. not to mention the cost of a pallet to get it down to me.

Price is ONO anyway.... I have some mini pallets and goldcoast is bugger all away from Townsville in comparison from Sydney /Mebourne etc...
You'd be supprised...

Bump...ebay again I think.... :(
