the wiseco forgies, what engine are they for? evo or galant, i'm after evo 3 forgies
 
yea mate theyre to suit a 7 bolt flywheel, and will def suit an evo 3,
also should have told ya ther low compression 8.3:1
 
Pity the Wiseco's are 40 o/s as someone I know would have grabbed them. Why dont you bore your existing block to accept them?
 
slightly off topic, but why is it 'bad' that they're .040'' oversize?

and you mentioned that they reduce the compression to 8.3:1 what are the effects on the engine?

goin a different style engine (2.3L) so the piston height will be 6 mm to high an i dont really kno where toget rods that are 144mm rods even tho id like to go that way an give a higher piston to rod ratio (yea i kno minimalistic crap really)

but yea an also ive got the crank an rods, so as soon as these sell ill be buyin the 1's to suit, id love to use these tho, get ya mate to hone his block :p

also, to buy these cost me $750 an theyr still brand new

higher boost mainly, dont quote me but i think std is 8.8:1 for an e2?? (using 1.1mm head gasket) which IMO is kind of a better way to make higher boost, i was lookin at using them with a 1.8mm tomei an running massive boost was thinkin 40-45 psi :D

yea thort long an hard, even started to look at rotational mass effects on the crank brought forged i beams to lower it, blah blah blah all in all its probly stupid idea for a daily,
yea if the payment dosnt go thru il look at keepin em an doin a hill climb car for fun, but atm i need money so thanks man i need the luck
