Factory evo 1-3 intercooler and piping?

hey there does anyone know if its any good to use factory evo 1-3 piping and cooler? as i want to go back to standard i heard factory causes lag? any help please

I guess it depends on how much power your making, I think factory set up would be good to a certain limit but once you start chasing more power it could be restrictive, you could opt out for black cooler piping that would sort of make it blend in and give it a factory look.

Generally speaking an aftermarket setup will usually create more lag due to pipe and intercooler size increases, but usually you'd be upping the boost so it kind of cancels itself out due to the cooling benefits and being able to run higher boost.

They'd be wrong - unless your aftermarket setup runs an extremely short plumbing route to make it super responsive.
