Factory Options Evolution 1

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

The way that I see it there are six options listed in the brochure (factory Mitsubishi options). Ralliart did offer a number of other items:
1 - Front foglights
2 - Red "Mitsubishi Motors" mudflaps
3 - Recaro Seats (for the RS Evo)
4 - Front Strut Brace
5 - Triple gauge for din slot
6 - Knee pad for left leg

Just had a mate pickup a evo 1 and it's got in addition to mine a rear garnish, sun roof, leg rest on the door and the evo badge in letters. Just trying to work out in the were original extras.

Can you post pictures of his leg rest and the garnish and badges.
The sunroof is nothing out of the ordinary...mine had one too...but I replaced the roof skin and got rid of it then. Best thing I ever did.
No more leaks and no more chance of it ever leaking again!!

Jamo I have the knee rest (two of them, I only need one). PM me.
I thought that I had seen a knee rest on the door before, will check the brochures when I get home tonight.

Rear garnish is not a factory option, it is found on a lot of the standard Lancer's from Asian countries (Thailand etc.).

Yeah Mikey....I've just had a look at one of the Philippines sites and it seems they are quite prevalent over there..so not so rare after all!

That evo badge is not factory for this model !! It's looks to be off a newer evo and had the V cut off it !?!?

There's heaps of them red garnish panels available on the Malaysian sites. For bugger all to but no one from these sites ever seems to want to deal with us (well me anyway!). They never reply to emails !! Which is a bummer cause there's a lot if cool shit forsale for good prices too.

What makes it even more of a shame is that the few Malaysian guys that sell on eBay that I've dealt with have been awesome. Take my genuine evo amber blinkers for instance they cost me $85aus delivered and there as new.

your best bet for getting some sort of email reply is to use google translate and send you communication in both english and malay. some don't speak english that well and the one that can read it are even fewer

Yeah only just recently I was on a Malay Facebook sales page I got much better response and acceptance from the users for at least trying to communicate at a level they could understand. If you get Malay responses just run them through google translate again it is pretty damn accurate
