anybody know what fender covers are called here in AUS?

Where do I get them from?
sick of ppl leaning on my front gaurds with their elbows
especially after the paint

ive got a few little depressions on the top of my quarter panels from people leaning on them, not to mention all the grease and shit that gets stuck there from grubby paws :evil:

im pretty sure snap-on sells them but it all depends how many nuts you're willing to part with to have one

we call em guard covers...

dont get the ones with lil pockets for your tools on em....its not fun when it slips off from the weight in the pocket and then you have to pick your tools up off the floor.
they are very usefulk though. and you can even get ones with magnetic strips in them so they literally stick to the guard sill (obviously the strip is inside the material so it wont scratch :wink: )

i got 2 Snap on ones thorugh work for $40

The Kincrome ones work great. Grab em from bursons, they keep em on the shelf.

They are also called Mechanic's Blankets.

I've noticed that every VR4 I've seen has little depressions all along the front guards at the top there. I guess that's where they come from...

mine has a fair few on it. and being black they stand out really badly. they honestly dont look that "cool" just a red cover with black ralliart lettering. not even the orange and red stripes. knowing the quality of shit at my work they are probably fake.
