Hey guys,

I have no idea where to start............

I have a galant box the 2wd pin to 4wd box that is in good condition..
Then i have another galant box (Unkown) with issues....

What final drive will i need to source to use the galant 2wd - 4wd pin box????

Ask me questions and i can look give me options to maybe rebuild the existing box?

Any help will be much appreciated.... just trying to run ideas through my head!

No, i have a galant 4wd gearbox... For my evo 3 gsr..

then i have a a galant 4wd gear box again.. for my CB lancer, that has that weird option to switch from 2wd or fwd to 4wd... with that werid pin system!
 
If your running galant/vr4 you would need to run vr4 running gear shafts diffs ect. I know the box will bolt to the motor. But the north south mounts are normally on the block for gallants. Evos are on the box so not sure if the gallants have spots for mounts.

As for the cb lancer. I like the 1.6L boxes. I find the ratio is better for accel during 1st and 2nd. But you can use the galant boxes as they are set up to mount the same way :)
 
The CP51H box has a final drive of 3.545... so does the W5M33 box. The Evo's have a different rear diff ratio so you will need to match one. Either use parts from your existing evo box which is stuffed, or swap the rear diff ratios which is probably easier if you're using a GVR4 box.

ALso be aware you'll need to change the casings because the evo has mounts in the wrong place. All in all it's a bastard of a job.
