I don't know much about ces besides the fact the motors are the opposite to the ccs.

Is there anyway to fit a vr4 evo123 motor into a ce

I have a spare motor and a mate is getting rid of his ce with a blown motor

Short answer, no

Long answer, I've got a 1.8l block you can have if you come and get it. You may be able to use it to replace the blown one if it's a 1.8l.

I believe u actually can do it!

We had a blue CE Mirage with a CC GSR motor in it, here in adelaide

According to the owner it is quiet an easy job, just needed to make bolt hole in chassis for eng mounts.

He has since sold it and put the standard motor back in.

He is on gsr-evo-club.net user name EVO RS

yep the gsr is a 4g93 but the evo is a 4g63.
I've got both of those here in ce forms but think it's the same for cc's going from 4g93 to 4g63 but I could be wrong without looking myself.

Cool man. Pm me ur number :) give it a few weeks to organize what's happening with the other car. It's just the block yeah with no head

Completely pointless to fit an older 'CC' style engine in a CE. Reasons being:

1. Won't be legal and won't pass EPA due to engine being older than CE engine.
2. Nothing will bolt up, requiring modification/fabrication of mounting points and brackets.
3. an ev4+ front cut sells for as much (or even sometime less) than a CD9a/CE9a front cut!

Yeah. Was just wondering coz I have an na 4g63 for a cc here. All good though. I've sorted it with Clive :)
