Clearly a photoshop job though.

Evo I-III just doesn't suit flare guards.
That pic is 100% photo chopped. Maybe not the whole body kit but it's Definitely been edited..

And yeah not a big fan of flared I-III's either.. When done right the front doesn't look to bad but the rear just doesn't work....

But wide body on the other hand !! (Ie DOUGMO's). Now that's another story...

Eh, I like the flared guards look. Each to their own. We all have our own opinions i guess, but certainly nothing wrong with constructive criticism, right? :)

That white one looks good too!. I'm wondering if some of the guys heat up their genuine bumpers to line them up to the flares or they're usually just a fibreglass bumper and modded to suit.

Yep it's 100% Photoshopped guys.

I will note that the E2 pic does infact come from an online web art source. I do bit of photoshop myself and can confirm it is a photoshop jobbie. It's quite well done

Let me point these out:
the intercooler doesn't sit behind the frontbar as it would in real life, the intercooler piping is too small, the shadow under the front bar isn't true and neither is the shadow/lighting on the tyres themselves. The white writing on the tyres are only on the front and not the back, the writing itself does not contour around the sidewall as it should, the 'GSR Evolution II" decal is fake, the reflection on the frontbar has been blurred and would normally have a much sharper reflection in the paint, he's cropped in a shitty OEM oil cooler (i'm sure if this was real he'd have installed a brand new oil cooler if he'd gone to this length of modding..), a terrible attempt at photoshopping a reflection onto the top of the rear guard has been done, rear wheel looks like it has the wrong camber/ stance, those orange corner indicators are alot more orange than the pic shows, plus i can see spots of distortion in the pic (see side mirror for example) ^_^ ^_^ ;)

Here is the link to download the fullsize version to see up closer http://cop-creations.deviantart.com/art/Evo-II-GSR-518170803

oh and the return intercooler pipe runs across the top like OEM does when it clearly doesn't exit from the intercooler in that direction (...and it's a different colour!)

Yep! lets play spot the difference! hahaha

Yep i'd love one too ^^^ I dunno why, but i reckon flared guards only suit particular coloured cars.... Not really a fan of the riveted flares look. It's gotta have clean lines like the E2 photoshop or none at all.

The guy has a link to the original photo, quite a tidy NSW car as it turns out.

I can't quite put my finger on why the rears look so awkward flared. The fronts come factory with a pretty decent flare and it looks right.

Just saying the body line seems like a cop out, maybe how close the rear door is to the wheel arch. I don't know.

Then again I don't like VI's because to me the body kit looks tacked on so my opinion my be invalid.

This is the kit I've ordered, see how it sits and then I'll make the decision to install them or not. They are 1.5 inches wide front/back.

(Sorry about the wrx)

Ive actually thought the same thing with these off the wrx, Do post up your findings please :)

Considering how incredibly clean your Evo looks I would be reluctant to see those bolt on guards installed.

Look tacky IMO. Leave then to the flat peak brahs with their WRX's...
