VR4 6-bolt flywheel and Jim Berry clutch and pressure plate assembly. Was used in my track car approx 5x times and 2x dyno runs before I smashed the (2nd) gearbox and have now just upgraded to a twin plate clutch better suited to my current (3rd!) gearbox after being removed yesterday.
This 3-puk clutch was built by Jim Berry and has demonstrated it is capable of supporting 305kw and 565Nm of torque at the wheels under circuit racing conditions. I have never abused it with high-rpm launches - I am always mindful of my driveline durability and my preferred driving activities do not call for drag-style launches or shifts.
It allows for a little slip and has enabled me to drive the car on/off my trailer with no concerns. It actually feels like a stock clutch to drive with and the pedal feel is very comfortable and not on/off or heavy so I believe it could suit a road car which belongs to a mindful driver who is aware of the limitations of a race orientated clutch in daily driving conditions, but user discretion is always advised. It uses the factory EVO clutch master and slave cylinders, so these will not need to be upgraded if you already have them.
Item Condition:
Very good condition - flywheel has no uneven or high spots or heat marks on the clamping face. Clutch is in very good condition with a little even and expected wear across the clutch puk faces but nothing requiring concern. Pressure plate looks like a pressure plate - no obvious signs of damage or abuse.
Price:
$800 firm - I won't give this away, it cost me an arm and a leg to buy from Jim and as people will probably know, he charges premium prices and in this instance has delivered a premium product.
