I have a knife-edged balanced Evo VIII crank in my evo 3 engine. Fitted no worries.
I got it 2nd hand from Race Torque in Perth for next to nothing but spent the money getting it machined polished etc
I know someone who has a wrecked TME engine that they will be parting out if you're interested?
 
Ahh ok so 2 new holes in the journel bearing.. both sides??

BUMP still after a crank

we only put one hole on the bottom. no particular reason for that tho. our reasoning is that the deleted balance shaft bearings should have had roughly the same area as the holes we put in. our friendly hydraulic engineers tell us that we have raised the oil volume to the bearing...but that as it isnt a " through flowing" journal....but is the end of a "line"...we wont have had a significant effect on pressure

Nah, im after a forged item, i was using an EVO5 crank in mine
