Diamonds are forever....
Hey guys I have decided to sell up a bunch of stuff from one of my projects. Before you start saying "why" and "you've come this far" etc i'm doing this because I have to, not because I want to. I have thought long and hard about this, and it's the right decision. Someone will get a bargain here.
I got this motor built to rev 10,000rpm+ with ease (although you might need to change the cams to do that) No expenses were spared in its build. Machining was done by reputable machine shop in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and cost over $2500 for machining and assembly alone. The block was torque plate honed and fitted with 40 thou oversized pistons.
Here's a run down on mods:
2.0 6-Bolt GVR4 4G63T
Acid dipped block
Balance shafts deleted
JE pistons 8.5:1
Carrillo Pro A-beam rods
ACL "Tri Metal" bearings
Eagle Forged 4340 chromoly crank
Kiggly main cap girdle
Cometic head gasket
ARP Main studs
ARP Head studs
Ported and polished head
Ferrea 1mm over sized valves
Ferrea "High Pressure" dual valve springs
Ferrea intake/exhaust valve seals
Ferrea Manganese bronze intake valve guides
Ferrea Super copper alloy exhaust valve guides
Ferrea valve locks,
HKS 272/280 cams
HKS Cam gears (updated models)
HKS Timing Belt
ARP Harmonic balancer belt
Unorthodox underdrive pulleys
Brand new water pump
Brand new OEM oil pump
Brand new OEM lower timing belt cover
Zacklee Corp clear timing belt cover
Here's some pics to go with it....
I am looking for a quick sale for this motor- you won't be able to build one of these puppies for anywhere near what i'm asking. Won't be separating the block or head at this stage. The motor has never been started, or installed in an engine bay. She still wrapped up in plastic sitting on an engine stand.
Please, only people who are serious to buy this motor are allowed to waste my time. Feel free to send me a PM and i'll give you my phone number if you want any more info.
Cheers,
Andre
