So keen to tow the cars down for this. Evo for show and shine and Coupe for fwd drag, gymkhana and time attack... But as normal funds/work will cause me grief....

I've just registered.

So a run down on numbers from each forum below:

  1. Club Support : This is a non-motorsport discipline. Each car forum will be provided a unique ticket code for the event and points will be awarded to forums based on the ticket sales per forum and thus the support of the event, each forum and the ARC Forum Battle by the forum members.
  2. Time Attack : This event will consist of 2 cars and drivers from each forum. Each driver will have 2 x 15-minute sessions to post their best time over the 1.6 kilometre Calder Park National Circuit Short Course (see attached map). There will be up to 8 cars on the track at once.
  3. Rally Stage/One-Lap Dash :This event will consist of 2 cars and drivers from each forum. Each driver will get 4 runs over the 2km course using the Calder Park National Circuit Long Course, the best time for each driver will be used to determine overall ARC Forum Battle points. Cars will be flagged away (rallystyle!) at 30 second intervals using timing beams at start and finish.
  4. Gymkhana : This event consists of 2 cars and drivers from each forum. Each driver will get 2 runs over the 750 metre highly technical slalom gymkahana course utilising pit lanes in the middle of the thunderdome. This is the most used section of calder park raceway for Rally Calder and will be highly visible to the public . Cars will be flagged away (rallystyle!) at 30 second intervals using timing beams at start and finish.
  5. Drag/Quarter Mile Sprint : The event will consist of 4 cars and drivers from each forum. Each driver will get multiple runs over the strip.
  6. Show n Shine : 20 cars per forum with each forum given an area within the Rally Calder Service Park precinct to “make their own”. A panel of judges will award points to the best presented individual cars and car forum as a whole – so get those creative juices flowing in terms of your areas!
I know we don't have much of a participating forum but we can get some numbers in each category at least...
Why build our cars if we don't ever use them? *wink wink JAY*
 
Car will hopefully be ready in two weeks, i will register when im comfortable with the car and do a test :)
 
In the meantime, the guys who want to represent 4gtuner in any event, I say just register.

Any representation is better than no representation...

Even if George's car isn't ready, somebody should give him their car to drive so he could kick ass for 4GT!
 
The Coupe's out of action with a blown headgasket and I'm suffering from a combination of severe lack of motivation plus being distracted with a house project I've started.
 
My car is no where near Baz, its getting less and less together at the moment
I plan to come out for a look though

i can lend a hand if you really want to rep for 4GT.......
 
at the moment its prety much a bare shell, not just a matter of refitting parts unfortunatley.

Its a long way off. And unfortunatley I dont have access to the S13 anymore as it was a work
owned car :( , thats why Im going as fast as possible on mine to get it done.
 
Want to take the VR4 for a spin around Calder?
I have a tune happening shortly...

Got a fuel setup to put in first though.

E85 and more boost!
Hopefully 400+ kw.

But 400kw is so last year, not going for more? :blink:
