Forum Battle Calder Park March 2012- 4GTUNER invite

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Looks like it will be a good event, I'll come down for a look as my car isn't up to any standards for the events. Would be great to see some of the cars there

In the meantime, the guys who want to represent 4gtuner in any event, I say just register.

Any representation is better than no representation...

Dougmo, will your car be ready?
You gonna rep 4GT?

Right on!

Bazeng are you able to resend me your entry . I cant for the life of me find it .

John

if there is a limit on the number of people from each forum that can enter each event and we have more than that register to enter, can we then choose who actually gets to do the event? ......does that make sense? lol

yep . which ever way you guys like .

Bazeng's feature now up : http://forumbattle.com.au/2012/01/18/australias-fastest-galant-vr4-entered/ . Please like and share with friends

get your entries in guys and join the 4Gtuner team

Baz, im working on the car wheel studs done just need to do some minor little things i will now in a week

Tim,

Hopefully version 2 will be much better ;)

That 10.9 was just the beginning!
BP98 and no launch.

V2
E85
Suspension setup
Drivetrain upgrades
Engine upgrades

Fingers crossed that all goes well!!

B) yep, that 10.98 will be bettered with the way Baz's car will be setup. If you've got access to E85, then go for it :D
I dare say all the driving events will be dominated by NON STREET REGISTERED cars. ie basically cars that have been setup for its intended competition use only.
Looks like it'll be a great event, especially if there are some competitive street registered cars in amongst the sponsored race setup cars!!

The good thing is that no slicks are allowed at this event!!

a) Pro class – for both street registered and unregistered cars. Engines and gearbox’s are free. Suspension pick up points must be in as per the manufactures design. Slicks are not permitted.

B) Street class – for street registered cars only. Each vehicle must retain the original engine and gearbox configuration. Suspension pick up points must be as per the manufactures design. Street legal tyres are only permitted.

So AWD have a huge advantage!

I'ld love to do many things Baz but I havent been able to get out of the house much since my health took a turn for the worse toward the end of last year :(
Ive only worked about 6 days since 1st December and a couple of those times the boss sent me home from being sick at work
Gotta get the health and financials sorted (and stay close to the docs and the hospital) in the meantime before making any plans.

Cheers mate, hopefully the docs can sort it out. Gives me time with the kids though :)
Seeing members put their hands up for a day like this is what it's all about
Really keen to see some of your cars in action B)

can someone contact Alex AKA: DIY Wide Body Lancer CC

wonder if he would enter...... show and shine....

Awesome guys, we have one entry from 4G Tuner now. The Galant VR4 is featured in the competitors blog below:

Can't wait to see this in action, use to own a 7th gen Galant myself (HJ 6A12 though), keep the entries coming in guys!

A small example of the competition. Euro's, JDM, Aussie muscle, exotics, drag machines, track hacks, hot hatches, time attack entrants, back yard mechanics and forum enthusiasts in general.

Representing Supra forums Danny's car is indeed a clean example.

Think your car could keep up with this bad boy? Grandma spec AE86 entering for some fun and to represent AE86 Driving Club.

Kyne’s Golf GTI is a well thought out machine, made to look aggressive and go when needed.

This Aussie muscle car might have dominated the drag strip with 480rwkw but has chosen to enter the show'n'shine. Drag competitors can let out a sigh of relief.

2.5L conversion, Will shall fly the flag for JDMST in the time attack category. Model in photo is Bettina Banks for those wondering. Google it!

Nope, this isn’t your everyday CE Lancer GLi with a knock off Evo bodykit. Luke’s cars is the real deal!
Last year it won the Victorian Hillclimb championship (4wd Sedan class).

Looks like a hot hatch battle is emerging in the FWD class for time attack. Rory has thrown his hat in the ring for OPELAUS with a very neat Astra VXR Nurburgring Editions.

Bought for a measly $1200, John’s Track Hack AW11 has spent most of 2011 in the garage being brought back to life. He is the first to admit to Forum battle that it isn’t going to win any Show and Shine awards. And it never will!
