FOUND: EVO 1-3 transfer case

Chasing a good transfer case to suit manual gearbox in EVO 1-2. Gearbox is a W5M332WQWE which is EVO 1 and rear diff is 3.909. I am therefore chasing a 1.090 transfer case. Prefer Brisbane or SEQ but consider anything. Thanks Bazza.

Hi Bazza, you have to be a bit more specific and careful which one you ask for as it depends on the gearbox you are running to suit your EVO 3.909 rear diff ratio.
EVO 1 and 2 run a 1.090 transfer case ratio
EVO 3 runs a 1.074 transfer case ratio
If you put an EVO 3 transfer case on an EVO 1 or 2 gearbox you're screwed with mix-matched gearing.
Do you know what gearbox you have? The last 4 letters on the top line of the gearbox bellhousing is the code.

Gearbox is W5M332WQWE and rear diff is 3.909 so I guess it's 1.090. Thanks for the heads up, Brian.

That helps heaps Brian
You have an EVO 1 gearbox with factory viscous front LSD so you definitely need a 1.09 transfer case if running the 3.909 rear diff.
You can use the transfer case from a 1.8 GSR Lancer AWD, EVO 1 or EVO 2 as they all have the 1.09 transfer case ratios.
Its the EVO 3 gearbox that needs its own different transfer case ratio of 1.074.
