friends evo was stolen on the weekend!!

Hey All,

Some very, very sad news... My car was stolen over the weekend. I'm assuming Saturday night as it was gone yesterday afternoon. Car was parked in a residental street in Port Melbourne.

Reported to the police and rang the insurance company who both advised that there is not much chance of ever seeing it again ...

Damn Fckers ! What I would do to find the people who did this...

Its a white Evo5 with a black bonnet, if anyone sees it please report it to the cops...

Could everyone please keep an eye out for it it looks exactly like my car however with a painted black bonnet not a cf bonnet.

Has stock number plates.

Please dont mistake it for mine as i have personalised plates.

Na i doubt you would have seen it, it rarely gets driven.

I noticed your mates has unpainted door handles in that pic. Was it an RS?

I kno how he must be feeling, I've had my car stolen (not GSR) never had an alarm, given that the auto was fucked at the time was probly the only reason I got to see it again. I think people need to think hard about the security of your cars, the amount of dollars that get poured into them, there is a system (data dot) I think where your panels etc are given an invisible barcode so to speak, I think this is a good system other that GPS satelite tracking that people with expencive, rare, desired, easily stripped out cars should think about implementing for less of a chance of "smart" theives takingyour car as they will kno most of it will be identifyable as stolen. Best of luck to your mate Polo, I hope his car turns up not a burned out shell.
