Hi, am just wondering when people upgrade their EVO front mount to something bigger, where do you run the hotside piping as there doesn't appear to be much space on the passenge side especially when you have an oil cooler, I know the cold side can go through the existing hole for the top pipe but unsure on hot side

Cheers

On my old GSR, I ran mine under the radiator support and then did a sharp turn up between the radiator and alternator and then up over the manifold..Was a struggle but got there in the end!
This was on a 63t but and you are limited to the size of pipe you can use to get it past the alternator due to the radiator being there too.

This is what I did...

I was using a E3 bar on this car too so once the bar was on you could not see the piping as the lip hung lower than the piping.

Thanks, that what I thought I may have to do, was also thinking of replicating the hole on the drivers side in the passenger side but there's not much space behind it with the a/c comp and power steering pump (93t)

I wouldn't be cutting any of the structure of the car if I was you..I've seen / heard of cars defected or road worthy certificate refused by pink slip provider in NSW due to mods like that.

mine runs up behind the headlight in-front of the ac dryer and power steering reservoir a 2.5 inch hole was drilled to bring the piping down there. there is a reinforcement plate that has adr approval papers supplied with it to certify that with the plate installed no structural integrity is lost.

you may need to move the oil cooler to allow room for this method

Why would you go removing the ABS from a road car? It'd be a great advantage to have. It'll have a flow on effect too, as you'll be modifying the standard braking system the car comes with - so you may even have to talk to an Engineer to see if any paperwork needs to be done.
