i had this upgrade just about ready to go on, but now going much bigger.
they are series 1 legnum calipers, same bolt up and vr4, early evo gsr and all, but suit the legnum/evo 4 size discs of 294mm. i have second hand dba 4000 series slotted rotors redrilled to four stud but has standard 5 stud also. decent easy bolt on upgrade. the calipers take the normal db1223 pads same as the normal twin piston setup.

pix up.
the rotors are ex "dougmo" he only used them for very very short trip but had bolt slightly touching the back, so hence the very slight marks in the back. nothing really i have had pads groove discs much worse! and these are not cheap, they are dba 4000 series rotors. originally 5 stud but redrilled for four stud also.

also available are fto 5 stud hubs, direct bolt on to gsr/evo if you are interested in a 5 stud conversion! $300 for the hubs if anyone interested.

pretty sure the gsr have the banjo bolt ends on the hoses (the one that the bolt goes through a fitting on the end of the brake line), either way i have the brake lines with the calipers anyway so if yours didnt work, can use the ones with the calipers which will go to your factory metal line.

What wheels were you going to run with those brakes
Just need a guide as to offset wheel size

Mate of mine has fit them under his 15 inch wheels with some very slight grinding of the caliper. But i would advise a 16 inch rim to make sure. I have some work 16 inch. And legnum 16 inch and both fit fine. The calipers dont really stick to far so im pretty sure any 16 or 17 inch wheels would fit easy.

15' fit fine but it might depend on the diameter on particular rims.

Since then i've had no grinding or problems. Just had to grind a bit on installation.

Get some good pads to go with also.

Simon, i forgot to ask you if they have pads and if the calipers are the
same as evo 4 or the earlier evo's or are they all the same. Need to know
for sure, so if i order over the phone or online i get the right parts,
Grant

the calipers have got some factory looking pads in them which will get you started or out of trouble, wouldnt think they are anything special. the pads are the db1223 the same as magna/evo 123and 4.
the calipers are series 1 legnum, which are kinda half evo 4 and evo 123. they take the same pads and they are the same style, but brackets sit them out further so they take the 294mm rotors instead of 276mm. hope that helps.
