the hks pods were proven to flow bad and provide low protection in a recent test, arc airboxs were one of the best

I thought the HKS pods flowed well but offered poor protection.

I'm more than happy with the ARC box. I upgraded from the HKS pod to it. Haven't looked back.

Someone is going to get a bargin. You can't get these new anymore and not many people want to sell the ones they have. The replacement panel filters for them are available through perfect run for about $70 from memory.

yeah i looks very nice in the engine, but i feel my hks racing super suction sucks heaps better.. dont know about flow though.

if your replacing it for performance reasons then your going backards imo pete, loud isnt always power. my skyline lost 12rwkw when i took of the arc box and went to a sealed bmc panel with cold air intake to the bar.

yeah its foam inside...

Pete, As I said mate, I've used both and i found that the ARC box was quieter but i've actually run better times with it.
