I don't understand what the big deal is with posting an item when the buyer is paying for it, all you have to do is package and hand it to the driver who picks up from your house! you don't need to go out of your way! You don't even have to make the box look pretty! Surely everyone is capable of that much? :?

I just sent some hoses to a guy in adelaide to get him out of trouble, If i wanted to be an ass about it, he'd still be looking around! What good is it to me if i have a part that he needs, i'm not using it but refuse to send it to him because he lives in different state to me?
F... me, I thought this was a community to help each other? I told you i'd take it, and i'd told you i'd pay for freight. What do you have to lose?

Mods / Admin, Can I make a suggestion for people who want to sell ONLY in their state, list the item FS in your respective state only cause otherwise what's the point? We see something we want to buy but were not good enough to have it cause we don't share the same postcode?

Someone please fix this up cause it's F....ing annoying!

interesting and I see your point BUT he said he didnt want to post it....his perogative.

i myself have periods where I am time poor, lietrally not enough hours in a day. packing can take up time as can finding out a cost for transport or postage for a buyer only to have the person that has said I WILL PAY POSTAGE say thats too much and the deal fall through. time wasted

my suggestion is to buyers wanting postage. get sizes of packed item from sellers and source quotes yourself. I do this when using ebay and have saved quite a bit on quoted prices on listings

cheers
