For sale: MY00 Subaru impreza WRX
Item Condition:
This neat example of arguably the greatest WRX ever made boast an untouched and standard nature. No modifications to the engine or body are apparent with the exception of window tint small sti decals and later model 17 WRX wheels MY01.
Full Subaru service history (up until I purchased the car) testifies the extent of the care taken to ensure the car has not and will not miss a beat. Although the 160 000Kms * are on the higher side of most MY00s this car has been has been extremely well maintained this is obvious from the moment you see it. The drive is spectacular and better then 90% of WRXs available. There are no clunks, rattles or whines that should not be there. The suspension is tight, ride is smooth and the engine is powerful. The car blows no smoke of any sort and does not burn one drop of oil.
The clutch was recently changed and replaced with exeedy replacement. Redline lightweight shock proof oil has been used in the gearbox and Redline heavyweight shock proof has been used in the rear diff. Only Penrite HPR10 engine oil has been used since I have owned the car with oil changes every 5000km. Subaru upper engine cleaner is used every 10 000km without fail.
Factory leather bucket seats add a hint of luxury that makes the car a lot more comfortable and unique. Apart from the seats factory Subaru WRX floor mats add the finishing touches to a sound standard interior.
Another feature of this car is absence of any war scars. The under body is perfect, no major structural damage/repairs of any kind are apparent and this is a rare trait of most now day classic WRXs.
This has a new alarm which allows tracking and much more. No money has been spared anywhere on this car, anything that needs to be done has been done with no hesitation. I know there are cheaper examples out there but they are usually rough. I am aware that this is not the best example available but it is better then most and priced well. I am open to near offers but please to not call and offer 15k
*80 000km were done in the first 2 years as the first owner lived in avoca and worked in syd.
