if the wastegate wasnt the problem how come its for sale??

Is there anything you would swap for it?

what turned out to be the problem? just wondering what would make you or your tuner think it was a faulty wastegate?

we had an issue where the gate wasnt opening and seemed the only logical reason for it to be doing it was that it wasnt working properly or there was a leak somewhere which we couldnt find. So we proceeded to change it and it was still doing the same thing.

Turned out one of the silicon hoses to the turbo had split in such an awkward spot that it couldnt be seen unless at a particular angle and wasnt allowing any boost (reason why i was only making 5psi and the wastegate didnt have enough pressure to open up).

So now i am stuck with a perfectly good wastegate. I would go back to it but we had to modify my dump pipe etc to fit the new gate and will just cost me more money.

not really after any swaps just cash.
