Hey hey,
Just received a nice, low km big 16g in the mail... so now my regency turbo and PTE 50 trim are up for grabs!

Starting with the small one :

It's a TD04 13g with a 5cm housing. Yes, it's very small. However, it is perfect in every way, zero shaft play, no cracks in the housing at all, no bent fins or anything. I have just ported the housing (it was my tester, but it came out fine). I may have a VR4 manifold with 5cm exit, I need to measure though.

It came off the engine thats in my car, low km j-spec motor. I believe there are very few km on it. Spools very quickly on a VR4, even with a severely restricted exhaust.

I'm taking my new exhaust housing to be ceramic coated next week, if the interested party wants the td04 exhaust housing coated, let me know.

Probably 170 is a bit much considering its limited application, $120 :D

OK now the big one -

PTE SCM50 turbo - unlike Matt's PTE, this one will almost bolt in to a stock VR4. I say almost, as the compressor housing is so big, you will need to dent one of your hard water lines (I will take photos when I remove it)

Model is 5031E, so it has the full 360 degree race bearing, not the early, prone to failure 270 degree bearing. It says .60 A/R on the compressor.

The inlet is 3", so some form of aftermarket (or clarkes rubber ;) )inlet will be required. If the buyer is upgrading from stock, I will include my dodgy intake, which consists of a 3" accordion and a hacked up stock inlet (ie you can plumb in the evaporative emissions and PCV). Reggie installed the air can inside the guard (a-spec though), this worked well but it was mighty loud.

No doubt you will have a hard pipe from the turbo -> intercooler if you are considering this turbo. I will include the nice braided bend needed to connect to a meek kit.

It was rebuilt when I purchased the car, I think it had less than 3000km on it (reggie can confirm this - it may be even less km). I had a couple of weeks of fun with this turbo, before I went to regency. Running 18 psi, the car was a rocket ship - and the turbo apparently runs much better at 22-25 psi. Spool is not bad for such a large turbo, it has been a while but I believe full spool was around the 3300 rpm mark, with a 3" dump.

After I got the car through regency, I re-installed it, but it has not really seen any boost action due to the crap tune. The most it's seen is about 10 psi. I have put about 3000 km on it in this state.

Comes with internal gate the actuator has been modified, basically the compressor is clocked so it's like a 16g, and the actuator is mounted on the other side. A piece of metal is welded on the end so it's the right length to open the gate. It has a thread so you can adjust the pre-load (don't know actuator spring rating, but it held 18 psi no worries with an EBC),

Oil return consists of a barb fitting on the turbo, and half of a stock return (ie hacksawed :D). No gaskets, bolts or hose clamps. (Seriously I bought a complete new set of bolts from ebay for less than 50 bucks shipped.). It has a braided oil feed too, plus the correct size right angle fitting, as the turbo likes to be fed oil direct from the oil filter housing. Have fun removing the grub screw :D

The turbine inlet is the same size as an evo3 big 16g (7cm). You will need an evo3 exhaust manifold, or even better a GTpumps copy... on the exhaust side the outlet is quite large, I would say that an evo3 02 housing is the right size. I believe I have one, if someone can identify it I would be willing to sell it with the turbo for 30 bucks.

OK here are pics : First the compressor size vs a big 16g.

Side by side, you can see the turbine is pretty much the same size as a 16g, just the compressor side is much larger. I have a 6cm housing.

Dent in water pipe - needed to make compressor fit

When I had the turbo out I noticed the front engine mount has been ground away a little.

All things considered I think $700 is a fair price. If anyone wants pictures of anything specific on the turbo, let me know. I will ship anywhere you want, so long as you pay for it, and pickup is fine.
