Fuel Consumption

So since my recent change to E85 I can't stop driving my car (Weekender). But I have noticed that I do fill up more at lower k's.

Tank 1 = 18.61L/100kms
Tank 2 = 17.47L/100kms
Tank 3 = 16.23L/100kms

The car is probably still adjusting to the change?

I do recall it doing about 12-14L/100kms back when I was on 98 ULP.


What does your Evo 4-6 do?

1 to 1.1 kilometres per litre on E85, at comp pace of course.
3ks per litre touring.

As a road car, mine averages between 11-13L/100km on what "could" be called a "combined cycle". That's on 98ron.

Based on the fact that E85 is supposed to use roughly 1.4 times the amount of regular fuel, that'd be around 14-18L/100km. Your usage sounds about right to me.

Not complaining and I was expecting this but just curious to know how it compares.
To me the power difference makes up for it
Twas ~30kw gain at the wheels. (VDR reading)

I can always just switch maps and go back to 98... nah... :lol:
