How do u guys go in relation to fuel usage and how many kms would u get out of a tank ?? or how many litres would u use for every 100kms ?
I think atm my car sucks and is using more than it should.
Current mods include; cat back exhst, air pod, and larger front mount.
I would get about 400-450 kms a tank or use about 14litres/100km
(from a 60litre tank)
I think that this is quite a fair bit, how do u guys go ?

Any ideas on wat can be done to make this better ?

btw i drive sensibly and rarely foot it down.

cheers

i get about 11-11.5 ltr/100km driving to and from work in the suburbs. Hwy is about 9ltr/100km

Things to check for are;
EGR not connected properly
coolant temperature sensor could be faulty
o2 sensor could be faulty

How heavy is your right foot?

My old vr4 on trip to and from Adelaide would get as low as 7L/100km on the highway but usually around 9L/100km on the trip from ball-melb (due to hills).

How hilly is your area?

I used to get around 400-450 around town to a tank (60 litres, but you only use about 50-52) which equated to something like 13L/100km which I think is fairly standard considering the car was built in 87 and that woulda been really good economy back then.

If you have a lead foot that can drop into the 200's.

how would i go about testing and seeing if the egr, coolant temp sensor and o2 are faulty ?

any help would be great since its really starting to hurt my pocket.
since i was under the impression that the car would be using somewhere along the lines of 9-11litres/ 100 kms :(

but where would i go and who does this datalogger testing ??
how much would it cost as well ?
and even though my car is more than likely an import with a jap computer will that affect anythin ??

is there any other way around it ?

thanx heaps

well i dont have anythin like that, or any access to things like that, is there anyone on the club who can help me out ??
and carry out this testing stuff for me at all ?
i am willing to travel

the car is an import jap model, since its auto and has jap writing in the fuse areas and so forth....
