I know ALOT of variables come into play here... just wondering what kind of kms you guys are getting out of a full tank

The most ive ever got is around the 450km mark
How does this compare?

In my Evo 1, I get around 300-330km (no more) before I've got around 10 litres left from 50 litres, indicated by the fuel gauge telling me I've got 1/8 left, 12.1-13.3L/100km average.
This is with 14-15psi dialled up, city traffic, and slightly spirited acceleration.. On boost AFR is about 10.5, so there is some room for improvement with a better tune and a more economical driving style.

8psi, 400km+ city driving with hard thrashing... supercharged though...and no fuel light yet...

220km, half a tank, big garret turbo, bigger injectors, so around 400 which im very pleased with

I just calculated that over a period of 5,702.7kms I used an
average of 11.4L per 100kms.
Stocker CD5A lancer.

How'd you manage to calculate that? do you keep records of everytime you fill up or something

I get more kms per tank with a larger turbo than i did with the 14b that wanted to spool all the time:rolleyes:
Best of both worlds

mmm

That makes me feel a bit better
I thought i was doing pretty bad
Is running a lil rich though
So as most theres definitly room for improvement
Ive found i get a lil more km/l from BP ultimate

I get around 10L/100km and that's on Vortex 98RON. I used to use BP Ultimate but I tried the Vortex for a few weeks and didn't feel much of a difference so just stuck with that. Mine's pretty much stock though except for a small TD05, pod and 3" turboback.

Evo 3 with minimal city driving.
11.02L/100km For me with 12PSI and a badly adjusted idle screw. Over the last 20,000kms
10.67L/100km With 272's and 12PSI fixed idle screw. Over the last 4,000kms.

Yesterday I cracked 463 kms from a tank left home for a mates place some 38kms away just before free way looked down and thought I'll make it to his place and fill up and the BP at the end of his street, I forgot to fill up and jumped on the freeway again then realised, I was like jump off and fill up and pay another toll getting back on the free way or fingers crossed, it makes it back to the airport BP near my joint.
With my fingers crossed and the the empty fuel light on all the way I made it to the BP filled up to the top and it was 43ltrs.
Not a good idea going that far down in a fuel tank I know but handy to know it can and will make it to the 460 mark on afull tank.

FTRecord I'm running 560 injectors and a 20g and chipped tuned by Meek, during EvoNats08 I logged a 5 lap session on 1bar boost and it never knocked once, I would have thought that at least 1 or 2 counts of knock on full noise for 6laps would have at least knocked something, but nothing :)

ive been known to get up to 420kms, but usually have to fill up around the 400 mark unless ive been driving hard then it goes down to 350-380. and my car runs rich

I didn't know that! :D

I usually get about 380-400km out of my 2.3 with a chipped ECU and big cams. On a spirited track session I can usually burn a tank of fuel in about 180-200km.

Interesting facts there, seems the bigegr the turbo, the less your on boost and potentially the better economy you can get

Im shocked at some of the economy of the ccGsr's, thought theyd be better.
