fuel flex sensor

Just been reading on the ecm forum that late last year tomas bought a flex sensor to test with. Seems they may try to run global compensation for various alcohol concentrations. Looks like only available on sd cars and of course on the v3 full for 2g ecu.
But just another reason to consider changing to a 2g ecu.

Haltech have a flex fuel sensor for there platinum sport (and above) range. For the sake of $250 and a setup tune, makes running e85 a nice easy option.

You forget that I am a tightwad. A 2g ecu and v3 and setup is $700ish. Ps1000 is $1500.

Where does it say for 2g only Jack? I can't find the reference there at all other than on guy mentioning a 2g ecu.

May have read that between the lines... sorry.
But it doesnt say v3 full either. But I think we know its a given, and wont go on the evo1-3 v3 lite. But maybe...for you guys that get e85 at a reasonable price.

So will have to go sd, as that frees up one input. And seems I was wrong about 2g only. Looks like 1g as well.
